THE STORY OF LILAC
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
In the summer of 2022, Lila began as a small idea during a trip to Valencia. When I discovered a shop full of hair clips, I immediately thought: Wow! And it inspired me to create something different than the standard black clips. And so the dream was born: a collection full of femininity, character, and handmade craftsmanship.
THE FIRST COLLECTION
Our very first collection featured the iconic Delft Blue clip, and a video of someone wearing it on a bike quickly went viral. Since then, we've expanded to include matching toiletry bags and accessories. Step by step, it became a colorful celebration.
OUR FIRST SALE POINT
Our first point of sale was a milestone we're incredibly proud of. More and more stores followed suit, selling our products. It's always a "pinch me" moment to see our products featured in such beautiful designs. We now have many happy customers, and our products are available in several stores.
MORE THAN A BRAND
Lila is growing and growing, and is increasingly becoming a lifestyle brand. We have many exciting things planned: we'll continue to innovate, expand, and create our icons. And it's all thanks to you, our dear Lila fans, who continue to inspire and support us. The adventure has only just begun!
FROM DREAM TO REALITY
That same evening, I immediately set out on a journey of discovery: what exactly is involved in starting your own brand? From finding the right materials and suppliers to designing the first prototypes. Less than a month later, I had my very first samples in my hands, and that's when the real adventure truly began.
A GROWING LOVE
What started with hairclips quickly grew into a full-fledged collection of toiletry bags and pouches. Designing, combining colors, and experimenting with new ideas keeps it fun, just the way Lila should be.

In the summer of 2024, I made a special trip to China to see firsthand where our videos are brought to life with so much love and craftsmanship.
