Our hair clips are made of cellulose acetate, a plant-based bio-plastic certified by ISCC PLUS. Compared to petroleum-based plastic, acetate is more sustainable and biodegradable. The acetate and metal components are tested and free of harmful substances such as lead, cadmium and phthalates.

We carefully select our production partners. In June 2024, we visited our production partners. Our production partners meet the standards of BSCI, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. These certificates guarantee the material quality and working conditions.

Lila tote bags & toiletry bags
We work together with two small, trusted workshops in India. We are in close contact with them and share a mutual love for textiles and norms & values. In these workshops, work is done in a pleasant and safe environment where professionals earn a fair wage and are treated with respect.

The cheerful prints on our bags and toiletry bags are printed by hand using an age-old technique: block printing. The patterns are put on the fabric one by one using wooden stamps.
