Purple hair clips
Our hair clips are made of cellulose acetate, a plant-based bioplastic certified by ISCC PLUS. Compared to petroleum-based plastic, acetate is more sustainable and biodegradable. The acetate and metal components have been tested and found to be free of harmful substances such as lead, cadmium, and phthalates.
We carefully select our production partners. We visited our production partners in June 2024. Our production partners comply with BSCI, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards. These certifications guarantee material quality and working conditions.
Lila tote bags & toiletry bags
We collaborate with two small, trusted workshops in India. We maintain close contact with them and share a passion for textiles and values. These workshops offer a pleasant and safe environment where craftspeople earn a fair wage and are treated with respect.
The cheerful prints on our bags and toiletry bags are hand-printed using a centuries-old technique called block printing. Wooden stamps are used to transfer the patterns one by one onto the fabric.
